vcu got their band their logo on Nike Dri-Fit shirts. I'm sure we can afford getting a logo on Adidas shirts. It can't be that much to get 75 shirts in bulk. If money is an issue I think a bunch of us could chip in $100 to make it happen.

It shouldn't prevent an apparel getting done, but one key difference that may complicate things is that the vcu band is part of their athletic department, while the Green Machine is part of our school of music.

Was surprised to see the band in Florida when I YouTubed the games. I am guessing money is no issue when you're talking about shirts for these kids.

im concerned what is going to happen to Electric Harpist, Kelsi, after the new year when she graduates this month. Does that mean the Green machine will not have the one and only pep band harpist in all the land?

Is there anyone who knows either a pep band member, a varsity cheerleader, or both? It would be awesome for the cheeleders to cue the student section to contribute to the band's chants and screams. Wouldn't it be insane to have the fans belting out the primal screams during "Sabotage" and "Killing in the Name"? There's audience participation for "Living on a Prayer", so why not make it happen for other tunes the band plays? It's simply a matter of engaging the audience. This is where the cheerleaders can assist.

We need to get the band, the cheeleders, and the fans coordinated. It would certainly make the band more relevant to the fan experience and help charge up the crowd. It doesn't seem like such a difficult task. Audience reaction and participation go a long way to help make a pep band #1.
