West Coast to East Coast has always bit us in the a**. Compare east coast and nyc corridor to west coast, and it will show clearly we have had better luck in those areas with guys simply sticking around. Much less performance. Westhead, G.C. Marcacinini, Kam Murrel.

If the staff likes him enough to bring him all the way from California to Virginia for an official visit, who are any of us to question it?

I’d say they have earned the benefit of the doubt that maybe, just maybe, they can see things in recruits the rest of us don’t see.

Newman had the goods. Boyd, Wilson, Mar, Calixte obviously do as well.

Was just talking to a co-worker about Miller who coached against him in AAU and he could not speak more highly of him. Said he had two college kids on his team, one a 7 footer, and Miller just destroyed them.

At some point it’s going to dawn on people that we have a really good coaching staff.

Recruiting is an inexact science but they have a good handle on whether a kid will fit the program’s culture and what they are trying to do.

Again if they think Hartwell is worth a scholarship, we should hope the young man signs and be thrilled if he does.

And Dixon was a rush to fill a spot. Temara is really the only full on recruiting miss at this point (with Relvao receiving an incomplete).
