Everyone is gonna focus on Jared's rust but a lot of people are forgetting Grayer also has some rust. I don't think hes played in a while because of that injury so hes gonna need some time also.

Reuter practiced with the team all last year, knows exactly what is expected, played in Spain, and has had all preseason to get ready. Rust? Another word for excuses if we don't win. When will the rust come off? After 5, 10 , 15 games? YES, I'm on record, it's time to win now.

We are 47 - 53 overall and 23 - 31 in conference over the last 3 years. No more excuses.

Yeah, rust, what happens to every team in the offseason. The first two games are usually pretty sloppy between both teams and is largely why upsets happen (we almost beat Louisville last year because they were rusty, and would have if Adel didn't just take over and will his team to win).

Otis was quoted saying Reuter routinely does 7 min miles... pretty crazy for someone his size.. but he was absolutely gassed in the scrimmage. maybe he ate bad Southside before the game?!?
