Didn't someone get a technical last season because of calling a time out when there were not left because they couldn't get the ball inbounds?
Yup, Chris Webber.

Wow, didn't realize we are taking an 0-for-A10 with both teams. The Lady Patriots host first place Duquesne (6-1) tonight and probably means 0-7. They then travel to 2nd place Dayton on Saturday. Has there ever been a school to not win a men's or women's conference basketball game in a season?I just read Dick Patrick's "Around the Rim" column about the women's team on GoMason.com, and I found this comment by a fan pretty familiar. With the women being 0-6 in the A10, things are not looking good for either basketball program.

I am heading to the game now. Everyone come and join us.
By whom? They suck, yet you're there. Someone needs to define FairweatherI was informed at the women's game tonight that I am a fair weather fan.

Sounds like one of those people who say you are not a patriot if you challenge your government.

but you did chant(or yell) "Five Two". Very much appreciated, even if it took me a while to figure out who and where it was coming from.....but to be clear, I am not, and never will be, one of the OCM chanters, FWIW.
Glad you appreciated it. After we did it, I was worried that maybe we had accidentally revealed your secret identity.but you did chant(or yell) "Five Two". Very much appreciated, even if it took me a while to figure out who and where it was coming from.....
My approval ratings for PHewitt tend to rise when we don't have a game mid-week...
I actually expect Hewitt to have a pretty good plan to attack SLU's weaknesses. However, once SLU makes adjustments, will we?
Walt, I agree Hewitt can be slow to make adjustments, and his inability to respond — as well as his stubbornness — have certainly cost us a few close games. At the same time, I think it's a misconception that making an adjustment to another team's adjustment means you can actually counter it.
Just because a team switches to a zone in the second half against us doesn't mean we have the players to counter that move, especially since our main weaknesses are perimeter shooting and dribble penetration. This is why we often have long lulls.
I agree with you that any chance we have of winning tomorrow will revolve around our ability to attack their weaknesses. I'm just worried that we won't have a counter when they do adjust, not because we don't try to counter but because they are simply the better team.
