With the refs in continual lets count every tenth of a second on every whistle mode ( i know they have no choice) the game went on forever and gave the Aggies lots of extra pseudo time outs. This comeback could not have happened until recently...don't know if something like this is good for the game or not. UNI played a great game up until the last 25 seconds (20 minutes) of regulation.

Not NCAAs, but in the NIT GW wins by double digits over #1 seed Monmouth. Wire-to-wire. Will play Florida in the next round

This is the only aspect of instant replay that I hate. They need to implement a rule that the five on the floor need to stay inside the 3pt line opposite the bench when there is less than two minutes left and refs are at the monitor.

Agreed. and when the refs do go to the monitor, they need to be quick about it. I feel like 99% of the time we all clearly can tell if a foot was on the line or not and how much time should be on the clock in 60 secs worth of replay.

Specific to UNI, there was one instance where their defender was getting out of the way on a layup by A&M. There was a little bump, but didn't impact the play and a lot less than what warranted a foul. Sure enough, after the ball had already gone through the hoop, the ref blows his whistle and the A&M player gets a foul shot. The ref got caught up in the emotion of the game, unfortunately.

There should be a 2 minute time limit for all videos reviews except fighting. If they can't tell in 2 minutes, then the call on the floor stands.

I'm assuming the blown 24 point lead with 10 minutes to go that Coach L talks about was the infamous meltdown against Fairfield in the CIT. One of the most epic meltdowns I've ever watched. In hindsight, we probably should have forgotten the pay to play tournament that year and wrapped up the season, didn't do us any good. Guessing that is why it stands out in Coach L's mind.

Ok, great win for the Villanova Wildcat professional basketball team. So I'm watching them dismantle Miami and couldn't stop noticing that some of the players looked like NBA veterans. Did a little investigating and found out that three of their stars, (Jenkins, Ochefu, Reynolds) are 23/ 24 years old! That's right 24. Ok let's not be so naïve, we are talking about millions of dollars for these big time universities. I should not be surprised. My commentary is the NCAA is bunch of crap. These are supposed to be college age students, who go to class and represent their universities. Personally I think it is disgraceful, and a travesty. It's about time we call them for what they are, professional players, who could care less about education. I say pay them for their services, and stop the pretending. Unfortuately, this is the state of the game. Just too much damn money involved.

Didn't mean to pick on Villanova, because I'm sure all these sweet 16 teams are carrying much older players. Oh and by the way no age limit according to the NCAA rules. I guess I'll just wait for MLB, at least we know what we are getting.

It's a real drag that Miami got bumped in the Sweet 16. I was digging all the attention that Mason was getting from the commentators via Coach L and our Final Four. This year's tourney has just lost all appeal to me now.

Oh well, on to Maryland and their matchup with Kansas. Hope the Twerps lose... lose hard and lose big.

Or Luke Hancock, who turned 20 in the middle of his freshman season.

Or 3x POY George Evans, who Coach L rode while rebuilding our program. Imagine being an 18- to 21-year-old kid trying to cover a grown man with military experience.
