The U! If WSU can hold on against Zona Coach L gets to see The Shocker again.

Yep, go Canes! WSU held on but that game should never have been that close. WSU opened a 100 gallon drum of whup a$$ on Zona for most of that game. Up by 24 or more at one point I believe. Zona coach looked shell shocked.

Crazy end to Providence USC, the Friars take it on a layup with 1.5 seconds to go.

Mason flashback in the U game.

Yep, saw that too. The memory lives on and the school benefits to this day from that miraculous run.

It was impressive. God I would love to see that kind of ball again at Mason.

If there was any doubt about the importance of good guard play there shouldn't be after today. Every team today that I saw advance had at least 1 elite guard and several other above average guards. Here's to hoping DP can recruit/develop some elite guards here at Mason.

Yes. The qui;ckness and court vision really stands out for the teams that were successful. Also, team balance is important. Miami had 5 guys in double digits scoring. As great as Angel Rodriguez is, he mentioned last night how important that balance is and that it takes some of the burden off him.
I think we're on the right path, but I hate to say, we are quite a long way from that level of consistent play.

Even worse than Gary Williams when he got worked up?

Will always remember at the BB&T Classic looking down and watching Gary literally crawling on the floor on his elbows and knees turning purple screaming, his players totally ignoring him. One of the most bizarre things I've ever seen a grown man do.

Let's hope Joes can do some damage. I'd prefer the face of the A-10 be anyone but vcu.

Major flop by Dayton. I know they were bad the last month, but to get blown out by a team that shouldn't have made the tournament is not good for the league.
