I'm going to throw out a new name today - was searching schools that recruit well in the DMV area which led me to Villanova. Villanova's "Associate Head Coach" is Baker Dunleavy. He's young, he's got a last name that people are going to know, he's learned under Jay Wright who is very solid (besides growing up with an NBA coach as a father), and he has a good track record of recruiting in the DMV. Negative (for me) is that he's only been at Villanova.

Like I said, just throwing it out there.

I'm not endorsing this necessarily, but you have to think that the interim job Larry Davis is doing in Cincinnati is going to put him on somebody's radar.

Just and FYI: Edwards fired Cliff Warren at Jacksonville on March 14th last year - he didn't hire Tony Jasick until April 9th. The article on Jasick's hiring said that Edwards interviewed over a dozen candidates.

If Edwards doesn't get his first choice, we could be here a while (groundbreaking, I know).

If it takes almost a month to hire a new coach and we don't start seeing "reports" during that time of current players/recruits considering a transfer, then Edwards is one hell of a salesman.

Considering the attention span of the average American teenager these days, a month is an awful long time to go without a coaching staff.

Hopefully he has convinced everyone to stay put until the new coach is announced and has a chance to meet with them.

I like the fact that he interviewed over a dozen candidates. Thorough. And yes - the fact that we haven't seen a lot of players jump - then he might be communicating with them on a regular basis.
