I was referring to the players on the transfer list I attached when I said they wouldn't be eligible next year.

Sorry, I thought you were responding about Joe Shannon's preference for a JUCO frontcourt player. BTW, the players on the list would be eligible in the spring semester of 2016-17 if they transfer this spring semester.

No worries. I really didn't know where to post the list, but I do hope Paulsen is considering some options other than incoming freshmen.

I wonder at what point Julian Royal might decide this season is a bust, and try to get a sixth year of eligibility instead. I have no idea if he is even practicing yet. I would hope Paulsen would let him come back next season, in that situation. It would beat bringing in someone new who doesn't know the system.

No JUCOs at Bucknell. Given the Academic Index in the Patriot League, JUCOs are not prevalent.

DP did have one player transfer in during his tenure at Bucknell. Brian Fitzpatrick, a 6'8" forward transferred into Bucknell after playing one season at Penn. He turned out to be a good role player for DP during his final three years at Bucknell.

Ian needs 13 points to set the all-time scoring record for Apex HS boys basketball.

He will probably have it by halftime of the next game.

Buddy of mine is freelance reporter in NC and got to cover one of Boyd's games. He came away very impressed with his athleticism - thinks he would have gotten offers from bigger programs if he were a couple inches taller. He interviewed him and said Boyd was very well-spoken and polite.

He made the right choice going to play in a guard heavy a10 conference then.

No chance this happens. I'm excited about Boyd also but MM will be our best guard next year.

Agreed. Boyd sounds like a very good player, and I'm looking forward to watching him for the next four years; but there's no way in hell he unseats Moore, who has started every game this year and leads us in scoring, assists, blocks and FT attempts (he's also second in steals and minutes played).

As much as I love the upside of our young players, I think Moore is the one player we can't afford to lose right now or next year.

NBCSN agrees Moore is our main man. Just pressed info button for this afternoon's game - it read "Marquis Moore and the George Mason Patriots visit the Billikens in a matchup of two teams looking to make up ground in the Atlantic 10."
