All we need to do is practice closing out on shooters once the ball gets kicked back out. Too many open 3s in the first half.

We shot 38% and less than 20% from 3 and won by double digits. My type of game. Of course I’d love to shoot better, but that defense is what we need to sustain.

Someone mentioned JMu’s steal percentage before the game and I meant to say I wasn’t too worried about our trio of guards getting their pocket picked. With this team, it’s about not beating themselves more than it is getting beaten by the other team. Tonight showed how they can play when they protect every possession (on both sides of the ball).

I’m glad AJ plays with that mentality. You can’t let some guy just dunk on you in your gym. It’s about pride.
