Saw a conversation between Bill Rohland, John Vaughn and Folarin Campbell on Twitter this morning. Campbell is in town and might come to the game tonight.

If I'm working on our coaching staff I would do everything I could to see if he'd be willing to come in and talk to the team for a few minutes. What better way to light a fire under their asses than hearing from a Mason great who went to the Final 4?

If you put Dayton in Fairfax, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't average 12K/game in bad years. We always chant "fan base is terrible" but what have we done to keep them engaged? When people have options, you need to earn their patronage. And even Alumni with friends of other schools don't want to hear "Mason Sucks" every time they meet up so they won't really encourage any friends to go either.

Fan 1: You going to the Flyers game tonight?

I've been to Dayton many times for work, and I can attest to the fact that there is basically nothing to do there except drink. Always the most boring work trips.......
