Classy note from the coach sent to season ticket holders:
Dear Friend of Mason Basketball:
Just a short note to wish you and your family the best this Holiday Season and to thank you for your continued support of our men’s basketball program. I write this note a few days after a disappointing lopsided defeat at home to Penn State, our second consecutive poor showing at home. Everyone in our program – from coaches to players to support personnel – is disappointed in the results thus far, and all of us are determined to work even harder and with greater efficiency to help our team reach its fullest potential.
At the same time, I think it is worth noting that this year’s team – with no seniors on the roster – has consistently practiced with great intensity and maintained an excellent attitude. I am proud of our guys’ resilience and work ethic, and our entire coaching staff is confident that we will witness improved play and greater consistency in our upcoming games. This is a group worthy of your support, as they have conducted themselves with great integrity in the classroom, in the dormitories, and in the greater Fairfax community. It is a distinct privilege to coach these young men!
It is also a distinct privilege to coach at Mason, where our team and program enjoys so much support from such a wide spectrum of people. We embrace the high expectations for on-court success and look forward to rewarding all of our loyal supporters in the near future.

Have, however, gotten thank you e-mails from GW for ordering tickets to the Mason game from them.

I am not a season ticket holder, but got this. I figured it was because I donate specifically to the men's basketball program.

I'm pretty sure Otis and Grayer have already played more minutes in their careers than Moore or Jenkins did at this point...
Well, it is going to be true all season, unless we have one hell of a post season run and make the NBA finals.

I'd probably up my donation for that.
Would be Eastern or Western conference though? Think we'd match up better against the Warriors than the Cavs due to our lack of big men.
