How did I know it would only take 5 minutes for someone to turn that negative? Is it so hard to be positive and happy for the unheralded guys behind the scenes?

Say what you want about Dave Paulsen, the coach. Dave Paulsen, the man, is a great leader. The type of leader that I would burn my boat for.

Love it. The coach tries to reach out and thank folks for the support during a difficult stretch and gets hammered for it.

It would be nice if he took the blame.

Great leaders win and can recruit. Great leaders do not get blown out at home on consecutive occasions.

Very appreciative to have a coach that recognizes the people behind the scenes. That is tremendous generosity to now have the bball managers as scholarship positions. Will the women do the same? Good on you DP giving these guys a full ride!

That’s great. Now how bout you stop commenting until “winning becomes a priority again”? Since everyone in the AD has just given up on winning, maybe find a team where you can buy wins.

Something tells me that teams that can afford nice facilities and more staff land better recruits. Or not. Maybe you're right and behind the scenes Dave and Brad said "f**k it, let's tank it to get the boards all riled up."

I will take my fandom talents to Grand Canyon and cheer on the Antelopes. They are 8-3 getting ready to beat Louisville. They will win the WAC this year.

The WAC has really good streaming services. I just have to get used to the time difference, but that sounds easier then putting up watching a crap DP team.

I personally think Mason should go after a high caliber Assistant Coach. First off who would even want the Mason job at this point. The league isn't what it used to be. But assistant coaches are begging for a shot. In college basketball, we'll call it "the assistant coach problem." You can be the best doggone assistant coach in the country, recruiting the elite players and diamonds in the rough, developing talent at a high level, scouting opponents, refining your team's offensive and defensive schemes, doing the bidding of your head coach. Yet AD's are reluctant to consider hiring an assistant coach for a head coaching gig.

Assistant Coach Wish List:
Chris Caputo, Miami- Obvious reasons.
David Patrick, TCU- proven ability to recruit!
Ron Sanchez, Virginia- knows the VA recruiting trail.
Jon Scheyer, Duke- Obvious reasons.

But if Mason is stuck on hiring a head coach they should consider the following. But like I said, I doubt these coaches would take the Mason job.
