Not sure there was really criteria for being selected other than being a season ticket holder, living a mile from campus probably helped

Thought the season ticket delivery concept was genius. Paulsen has acclimated himself quite nicely without even coaching a game yet. I remember seeing Hewitt on campus once promoting a game at South Side in his nubby black leather jacket. He was just going through the motions.

What about Grayer at the 3?

Makes more sense in that Grayer is listed at 6'4" and Murrell at 6'2". Otherwise, we'd be "5 guys with 3 of them 6'2 or shorter (Moore, Murrell, Livingston).

On the other hand, I'm operating on just having seen the open scrimmage where Murrell shot pretty well from 3 and I don't remember Grayer showing much. But even DP after the scrimmage said that some guys who shot well from 3 hadn't shown that in practice while some who didn't shoot well in the scrimmage, had been shooting well in practice.

Small sample size that's even a couple of weeks old and they have had many more practices and 2 scrimmage games since.

(I believe he had a least three 3s). With Holloway suspended, Grayer and Abrams will both have a great opportunity to earn minutes in the backcourt.

I think it was Grayer and Livingston, but not 100% sure. He was talking about several guys at the same time. Then he mentioned with 2 freshmen starting...

Grayer is starting !?! Love his potential but he didn't play at all in the scrimmage vs umass lowell and i didn't see him playing at practice the other day either? who confirmed this was the starting lineup. Thought for sure Jalen Jenkins would get the nod.

That works for me as long as Grayer can knock down some shots. Teams will dare us to shoot from the perimeter rather than allowing Thompson to dunk on them all day, so we need all of our guards to step up.

It'll be tough for Colgate to stop Thompson from getting the ball. They may have to bracket him, which will give our other players all kinds of space to work.

With Moore's ability to break down his defender, look for a lot of dump downs to our 4.

If they double Thompson, then Moore dumps it to Marko, and Thompson's second man comes to guard Marko, I am imagining Marko getting 5 or 6 assists to Thompson for easy layups/dunks

Expect to see Marko in a lot of pick-and-pop situations and having a bunch of wide-open shots.

Also expect to see Marko pass up several of those shots to create an even better look for a teammate.

His basketball IQ, passing and ability to space the floor will be huge in drawing the opponent's 4-man away from the basket and giving Shevon (and Jalen, when he's in the game) room to operate in the paint.

Personally, I'm looking for a HUGE year for Marko. He is literally a perfect fit for the way DP wants to play.
