Glad you could make it out, 99. I stopped going a few years ago after Hewitt turned the Insiders into a mockery — very strange having Gary Williams speak at his own event one year — but I'll probably return next year.

I still make my annual donation, but the Insiders felt a lot more special under Coach L. He made people feel appreciated by working the room and getting to know everybody's name — unlike Hewitt, who was much more aloof and made people approach him. From the sound of your experience last night, it sounds like Paulsen appreciates the fans and embraces the Insider tradition.

Need more people coming out and supporting events like this. I have been the past 4 years and this was the best turnout by far. Coach Paulsen is very down to earth and works the room. He comes from a private school where he learned how to kiss the big wigs butts and he is impressive. He reached out to Angie and some other high profile alumni who were also there to support. His assistants are also engaging and have great personalities..... they worked the room too.

This man is taking us places people. Lets hop on the D-Train and give him our support in any and everything he does.

It is probably a good thing they did not deliver tickets to me. I would have embarrassed myself when I did not recognize who they were.
