Angie Goff posted a picture on her Instagram that she attended Paulsen's event last night.

Nice event. Probably about 75 people there including all the coaches and BE. DP mostly worked the room but did do some brief Q&A. Nothing surprising or new. He reiterated that he thinks Otis would start if game 1 was tomorrow and said that they are still deciding what to do with Dixon because he's come so far so fast they're not sure whether to redshirt him or not. Also Daniel is having surgery next week I believe on his knee, further guaranteeing his year off, but didn't sound horribly serious.

I did get a sweet GMU Rock basketball signed by the team at the silent auction (for remarkably little), so that made the trip worth it. No PH signature on the ball. Guessing he left practice early the day they made them sign it.

Glad you could make it out, 99. I stopped going a few years ago after Hewitt turned the Insiders into a mockery — very strange having Gary Williams speak at his own event one year — but I'll probably return next year.

I still make my annual donation, but the Insiders felt a lot more special under Coach L. He made people feel appreciated by working the room and getting to know everybody's name — unlike Hewitt, who was much more aloof and made people approach him. From the sound of your experience last night, it sounds like Paulsen appreciates the fans and embraces the Insider tradition.
