Yeah that's gotta be tough. He was a real high IQ player who mastered a tough offensive system, have to imagine if he wanted to coaching could be an option.

He’s a really bright kid, I’m sure he has plenty of opportunities off the court. Probably gonna end up running for office at some point.
Bite your tongue! I'm still holding out hope that at least season ticket holders will get to go to games. Let's be honest, you could have all the season ticket holders and their +1, and you would still have plenty of room to maintain social distance. I also heard through the grapevine that the athletic department (what/who that means, I'm not sure) wants people at the athletic events, so there's that.
I’m with you! If they let folks in, my whole group plus at least one will be there as well. Really probably going to be up to the state whether they let folks in or not.

Saint Louis was 19-2 last season when it held its opponents to 70 points or less. Billikens were on a collision course with Dayton at the A10 Tournament in Brooklyn. EVERYONE is back.
Dayton just pulled in a top 40 player into their already elite recruiting class. Highest ever rated at the school

God I’d kill for mediocre A10 recruiting at this point lol. We’re bottom of the barrel in that department.
So Dayton made Castro’s final 3 then Anthony Grant was like, “Actually, we signed someone better ... thanks but no thanks.”

he can't because by 0 metrics out there is there a case to be made... we are bottom three in A10... arguably bottom 2.... and this isn't even taking into account getting impact or any transfers... because we are dead last there with 0 to judge
Exactly. I’ll hear the argument for two A10 schools, it’s not even close for the rest.

We have a lot of new coaches in the bottom of the A-10, so it's hard to say what the future is going to look like, but we've in the middle of the pack win-loss wise when you add up the last 4 seasons.
Not for recruiting. See our last coach. Probably a top recruiter in the conference. Couldn’t coach in game to save his life.
A top recruiter in, what, the CAA or the A-10?
Shaka Smart was the top recruiter in the CAA until he jumped. He wasn't a top recruiter in the A-10 either.
Easily top within the CAA for his short time there. All things considered for how bad our team was, he was one of the better recruiters in the A10. Everyone forgets that before he got fired he had a top 4 recruiting class signed in the A10. In terms of pure talent coming in out of high school, each of his classes were purely more talented than any class Paulsen has pulled in. That’s not to say that the players developed better, or he is a better coach. Just the guys he convinced to come to fairfax were better true freshman than any of the guys Paulsen brought in as true freshman.
The only metric that matters is wins and losses and by that measure we are squarely in the middle during DP’s tenure. Everything else is message board fodder.
