Let's hope we get some good news soon!Maddox and Hall are my top 2.
Who are we landing today? I know someone’s committing.
That dude can score - would love to have him (and hope TO's go down at least slightly)
Would he have 2 years of eligibility because he'd be grad transferring and then he has a covid year?Jesse Zarzuela's college career may be the most interesting one in history:
2018-19 - UTEP (redshirted)
2019-20 - Navarro College (JUCO)
2020-21 - Missouri State West Plains (JUCO)
2021-22 - Coppin State
2022-23 - Central Michigan
2023-24 - ??????
He's a Houston native and had a LA Tech offer coming out of HS. Skinn and Ekanem are both familiar.

Somewhere Andrei Semenov smiles.
I cited them because they are the 2 current Mason transfers that ended up at P-6 programs. They also highlight the flaws and bias of the article.you cite Miller and Kolek, why not cite the other players who left the program last year. Did they end up at P-6 programs? Are they playing in the NBA or professionally elsewhere?
At all level - 2000 players in the portal - simply not enough scholarships to go around. It is basketball musical chairs - the top 100 or so will do fine, but the average player will not.
There was an NCAA proposal - and i don't know the current status - to grant an additional year of eligibility to any player who completes their undergraduate degree in 4 years - obviously this would not apply to those with NBA prospects, but that and NIL would likely keep some skilled players in the NCAA.You would think with a highly regarded law school someone would make it project to argue and get some extra eligibility for our players....
Hell I would love for it to be for Semenov just for the pure joy of seeing a 40 year old man still playing college ball cause an attorney argued he had extra years because of asylum seeking or something.
That would either create more transfers, result in fewer incoming freshman with scholarships, or both. There was an NCAA proposal - and i don't know the current status - to grant an additional year of eligibility to any player who completes their undergraduate degree in 4 years - obviously this would not apply to those with NBA prospects, but that and NIL would likely keep some skilled players in the NCAA.
Devin Dinkins, while he hasn't shown he can be a legit point guard in the A10 (only glimpses) was recruited as a PG and was Kim's first recruit. So I'm not sure I follow here.I honestly will be impressed if in 2 weeks Skinn can do something English couldn't do in 2 years...get a point guard.
Right now you have Polite who is returning who averaged 11.5 per game so obviously hes probably going to be a big piece. On paper, unless Mason gets a guy who scored more than that, he will be our top returning option.I’m not as knowledgeable as some of the transfers as others in here — question for y’all is are any of them someone we can build an offense around? Because that seems to be our biggest need, right now we don’t really have a center piece for the offense to build around. We need a primary scoring option. Like others have said Cornish has a ton of potential to be that guy, but if you are a first year head coach do you gamble your first season on it? Not as knowledgeable on either Maddox or Hall, gonna have to do some research tonight.
or do we get a 4 to 5 guys - generating 60 points per game, with the highest averaging 15 points/game in a balanced offense approach?I’m not as knowledgeable as some of the transfers as others in here — question for y’all is are any of them someone we can build an offense around?
