It's all good GMU79. It's absolutly okay to have a different opinion. We're just out here to give love and suport to RP. It's been known that coaches, players and recruits have read stuff on these boards. So we ALL need to be delicate on what we say on these boards. But feel free to trash the $hit out of Providence.
Thanks. And I must have missed it, but I honestly had no idea anybody "official" read these boards! Yes, we do need to be aware of that. Thanks for letting me know.

Projected starting lineup, I hear we will be low on subs so signing the Bona assistant makes sense since Schmidt was famous for not using subs and running his players into the ground.

We're all pretty convinced the athletic dept reads here regularly. We'll make suggestions or complaints on here and then the next week the athletic dept will do something about it.

Hewitt actually straight up asked us to calm down on the boards. I think the story goes he was recruiting a kid and someone one here was criticizing him and while on a visit at another school, they showed him what we were saying about him.

Yikes! But it's good to know that we do have at least a little influence.

Just looking at stats so this could be a dumb question. What does he do that warrants transferring "up"?
Not a bad question - it does look like he has improved each year. Looks like this will be his final year of eligibility.

He scores in the post better than anyone we've got. Has good hands.

We've got 8 scholarships open, so . . .
Exactly - based on stats alone I would expect him to be a plan c type guy if we only had a few spots.

But with so many open spots - I have no problem taking a 6’9 player with a lot of experience, who almost averaged double figures on a very good CAA team.

At worst would be a great backup at the 4/5

Good rim protector, would give us another experienced big to pair with Malik. As we all know at our level even competent bigs don’t grow on trees and Tony has a crapload of scholarships to fill so he may not have the luxury of being super choosy.

Not sure we'd take a look at him if Ojiako stayed. BTW, has he connected anywhere? Might he return?
