According to kenpom, 2 yrs ago Singleton had an assist rate slightly better than this past year's version of XJ. However this past season his assist rate is less than half what it was the previous year and he had a turnover rate much higher than his assist rate. Hard to figure what we're getting with him.

This past season, he missed time in October and November due to a heart issue, which probably means he wasn't allowed to do much, and was rusty when he finally got on the court. I wouldn't worry too much about his 2021-22 dropoff.

Singleton had a rough go at New Mexico. Junior season the entire team had to live out of a hotel out of state because of COVID restrictions, then his coach got fired, then he got COVID senior year and ended up with an irregular heartbeat.

If he’s finally healthy, he’ll be a very nice addition as a grown man who can come in and contribute right away. Whether starting or coming off the bench, what we need is more A-10 caliber players and he’s certainly that.

Per Jeff Goodman, Rudi is visiting BYU on Monday and San Diego State on the 29th. Not sure if he’s still planning to take a visit to Xavier. Regardless if he ends up at Mason it will be a coup for Kim.

is it 7 days until portal entry closes for those who want to play the 22-23 season?
will we see a rush of additions over the next 7 days?
especially among players that have been recruited over?

A little off topic, but much respect to the climate activist that set himself on fire on the Supreme Court steps last week. If people would do that more instead of constantly complaining on the Internet, the world would be a better place.

Took the transfer portal up to heaven, he did.

May his soul finally find peace in heaven as he gazes up on the face of god.

May 1 is the date to go portaling and still receive a one-time transfer exception. However, many are skeptical and wonder whether the NCAA will allow any and all waivers filed post-May 1.

Thank you! Twitter is blocked at my work.

To check on a post that is just a twitter link with no other info, I have to turn the Wi-Fi off on my phone, walk out of my room to a spot where I can get a signal (I'm in an interior room), and check it. Many times it's something I've already seen prior, which sucks... it's very helpful to have a short description and not just a link.

A step in the right direction for depth, but still doesn’t quite scratch the itch IMO.

I'll add more info along with the tweet so you all get the info without clicking.

Very welcome. I'm sure you are not alone with this issue.

I'm not into telling people how to post (unless someone is being an asshole etc) and this has been sorta something I've been thinking about for a while, so this gave me the right way to mention it. It would be great if folks could post descriptions and not just twitter links going forward. It just makes the forum a better place and easier to follow news etc. Appreciate the flexibility and if anyone has other ideas around this to help, let myself or @HoopsAdmin know.

At this point I get what we all want as fans, but we have to also look at what is feasible and what is available. If a guy like this can come in, and be an upgrade for 2 years at a critical position and make the difference between .500 and top 4 like you mentioned in another post, I welcome it. I don't know enough about this kid, but I have to think he'd be the upgrade we'd be looking for at the position especially considering the market and what other schools obviously have the same need.

I suggest banning anyone who commits crime against society like kid-touchers, blasphemers, following a Kardashian on social media, owning a basset hound, continuing to make the lame tractor or Peterson jokes, failure to deliver contracted wedding album photos in a rich Italian leather binding, possessing a degree from vcu, or participating in the invasion of Ukraine.

Societal standards must be maintained!!!
