you remind me of the St Joe's Hawk quite a bit Jim. You just keep cheering and cheering when there is little to cheer about. Don't your arms get tired?
I guess I could just be miserable like you, but life is too short.

this recruiting cycle is not over Jimbo. We already signed the kid with the worst offer sheet out of all the kids we offered so thats a plus. If we lose out on Zaakir, Folkes, Castro, Charles, and Samb then consider me worried. Paulsen knows exactly what he is doing to be successful long term in the A-10.I guess I could just be miserable like you, but life is too short.
Alternatively we might be adjusting the pitcher after this season which might yield similar results.Based on Erik's quotes,, I guess Billy Lange tells kids what they wanna hear. DP looks like he doesn't promise much. If your son heard "we want you to come in and be a playmaker and have an immediate impact" vs "you have the CHANCE to be an impact player"....which program would you feel better about? I'm assuming here but with the high volume of whiffs DP has had, maybe its time to adjust the pitch.
.
Guess you weren’t paying attention because Saint Joe’s has been really good far more recently than Mason. Given their history and location they’re still an attractive brand to a lot of kids.
Mason isn’t in a rebuild, we just suck...Lol we’ve missed on the two guys who we’ve been tied to since day 1 and we’re probably at the top of the whiteboard. If we miss on Castro who’s left who we have been recruiting the last few years?
Also it’s funny to see that St Joes can land studs like this early in their rebuild on the promise of playing time and we were scraping kids from the Patriot League to try to fill out our roster at the same point in our rebuild.
Lol dude location? To put it in perspective for you, St Joes location is hardly in Philly, it's like calling Arlington DC. Their arena is in the bottom half of A10 gyms, their practice facility (Casciato gym) is honestly worse than what we are working with at the RAC. They weren't just one of the worst teams in the A10 last year, they were one of the worst teams in college basketball as a whole. Their last tournament appearance was going on 5 years ago.
It's just wild to me that St. Joes is in essentially the exact same position right now as we were when we hired Paulsen. 5 years removed from relevancy, in a complete rebuild, with aging, poor facilities. And they beat us for one of our top recruits. When we were in their shoes, who were we beating for recruits? Now tell me what the difference is in those two scenarios.
being too generous on Patriot League for that first class. St Joe's also has been hammering the transfer wire for local talent coming back to the city after going P5... already secured Bishop and I heard they are on another as well. Bishop is nasty as hellLol dude location? To put it in perspective for you, St Joes location is hardly in Philly, it's like calling Arlington DC. The school is located on City Avenue. The campus is in West Philadelphia and Lower Merion Township. It's also a member of Philly's Big 5, which means it plays one of the best basketball programs in the country (i.e., Villanova) every year.
St. Joes hasn't played Villanova close in at the Holy War in at least a decade. So sweet, kids get a non conference game where they get to have their asses wiped against a P5. They can get that at alot of places.
Evidently, you don't understand what the Big 5 means to the players and fans (including me). And, to be precise, the Hawks defeated Villanova at Hagan during the 2011-12 season, and lost by 4 at the Pavillon the next season.
The ignore feature is wonderful.you remind me of the St Joe's Hawk quite a bit Jim. You just keep cheering and cheering when there is little to cheer about. Don't your arms get tired?

Are we seriously going to go at each other every time a recruit doesn’t pick mason, lol
