So we sign a 6-7 kid for 2021 (Gadsden) then offer a kid who’s listed as 6-7 and 6-8 (when in doubt always take the shorter number, and are tied to another kid who’s listed as a SG/SF (same as both Gadsden and Charles) all within 1 week? I know it certainly happens occasionally, but I wouldn’t bank on any of these kids getting any taller. If they think any of them project as a 4 then they would absolutely 100% have to redshirt to bulk up for a year before they’d be physically ready to play the 4 in the A10. Just doesn’t really seem to make a lot of sense given we JUST signed Gadsden last week.
I don't see a problem with that if they are on board and Henry is a good successor to AJ. Miller, as a senior, should be able to shift between the 3 and 4 his senior year (since he's already done it the last two years anyway) and give enough backup minutes to Henry to be able to red-shirt someone else.
You'd have Otis and Dady and Gadsden or Johnson or Dudinski or Ilkur or Castro (provided we get any of those targets) backing up Miller at the 3 when he shifts to the 4 when Henry is on the bench, the other one will red-shirt as they make the move to the 4 (again, contingent on landing another 6'7-6'9 wing prospect in the 2021 class).
Either Otis starts at the 2 or Kolek or Polite.
It's also possible that Gadsden comes in at 210 his freshman year and immediately plays at the 4 and you don't have to redshirt anyone.
Garrett Johnson is also listed as a SG, so that might also declog the 3 position if he can play the 2.
