Mika Adams-Woods doesn't look like hes considering us any longer. Looks like he is all about stepping in at rebuilding programs where he can be an instant starter.

Only said he eliminated Buffalo and Siena? Also says he’s going to visit St. Joe’s and a few other schools before making his decision.

Also looks like an ACC school might sweep in and snatch him.

Adding a first-team all-Met pick in the late signing period would be massive.

I know this may never come to fruition, but can’t help but be giddy thinking about a lineup with Haidara, Brown, Mar, Miller and either Calixte or AJ.

The length and versatility in that group would be a game-changer for our program.

Dave is rapidly closing the athleticism gap he talked about after the A-10 tournament.

Just to update. GW and Mason reached out to Brown after he was released from W&M. He took an unofficial visit to GW a few weeks ago and is taking an official visit with us this weekend. Let's get this done!

Somebody should remind Brown that by the time GW is ready to be something other than dogshit on Mason’s shoe, he will be graduated.

I've seen him listed between 6'3 and 6'6. Most sites have him listed at 6'6.

I think it would be a great signing. I always like see Mason sign first team All-Met players.

Brown would be a freshman so that is nice..... but Mika to me is a much better player... not hating on Brown as he is 10000000x better than Oduro but hes not all that.

Considering we still haven’t gotten a visit from Adams-Woods, and Brown is visiting this weekend, I would think that means we want Brown.

I’d certainly much rather have Brown than see him go somewhere else and develop into Marcus Thornton or Nathan Knight, two guys we barely recruited who became stars at William & Mary of all places.

A bird in the hand . . . Additionally, DP seems confident in our front court next year to not look to add anyone else. Is that because he is confident in Oduro being ready to contribute? I don’t know.

I agree though, Mika looks better from the tape I’ve seen. Add in the wrinkle of him being a lefty, and I’d think most would agree. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that he is as interested in us as we are in him.

Knight had a scholly to Mason from The Virus. Then he didnt.

The plan might still be to redshirt Oduro with Calixte taking the majority of minutes, AJ backing him up and getting 12-15 mpg and Mar playing spot/emergency minutes as needed.

That is definitely the plan. Oduro will be a “break glass in case of emergency” player next season, just like Miller was this season.
