Neither fill a position of great need for next year in my opinion. I like Mika’s tape a bit better, but there is a lot of competition for him at the moment. I guess you could classify it as a “missed opportunity”, but I wouldn’t fault the coaching staff if he decides to go somewhere else. Some of the other schools on his offer sheet should blow Mason away in things like facilities, fan interest, etc.If we get neither Micha nor Cam, missed opportunity or some other excuse?

Brown doesn’t stand out to me as much, so I wouldn’t fret if he goes elsewhere. I think we’d be able to find another suitable recruit to take the last scholarship if needed.
Excellent rebuttal. Truly inspiring. That’s why you’re a dummy
If anyone has been following Cameron Brown's twitter page, he has been retweeting posts by St. Joe's new assistant coach Straughn, the same guy who just signed Cheereef Knox.
He also retweeted a video of a recent interview about his recruitment. No mentions of GMU other than talking about backing out of his William and Mary commitment. Sounds like a bright kid with a 3.3 GPA.
For some reason, I don't love our chances to sign this kid. We have many players in the 6'5-6'7" range on this team returning next year.
Our only rise to glory was the final four and even those guys can't get votes to play in the TBT. It might just be how it'll always be and we need to temper our expectations.I am beginning to feel that Mason isn't that great of an option for a lot of these kids. Another year of mediocrity may be on its way.

It’s not a great option because we have little to no playing time to offer any of them. You know, that’s not a bad thing if you really think about it.

It is if they are clearly better than what you have.
Hard to know that since none of them have played a second of college basketball.
Nah, you can tell. For example, Dowtin was a better PG than Otis. Didnt come here bc he probably didnt want to wait for DP to figure that out. Another example is Hartwell. Should of played more last year but didnt bc Otis was a senior and shown too much loyalty. DP doesnt promise kids playing time. Until he does a la Otis.
Like being able to play in the NCAAs his first two seasonsDowtin went to URI for other reasons.
To me Dowtin and Kier are the exact same players. If we had them both a black hole would have opened up at EBA and sucked us all in.
