I think we have a good shot with Xavier Johnson.

His dad is Kelvin Johnson, former Richmond player and current UCF staff member. Kelvin was a stud at DeMatha back in the day. We have a guy on staff that was also a stud at DeMatha.

A little surprised I haven't seen UCF linked with him. Doesn't look like he has any other visits scheduled yet and he has mentioned that he wants to pull the trigger before the season starts. Hopefully he calls it soon and heads to Fairfax next fall.

I wonder if the staff likes XJ enough to accept a commitment before waiting to see where we stand with Young and Adams-Woods, especially since I don't think the latter has made his official visit to Fairfax yet.

I would be happy with any of the three.

Here's a game I covered between Episcopal and Flint Hill (Wahab) last year. Johnson knows how to get to the line (12-14). Paulsen and Simpkins were there....needs to improve his outside shot and 6'2" is generous unless he's grown, but...shows what he can do.

This is huge!!!! Chereef Knox was part of the 1-2 punch along with Top 50 guard Dahmir Bishop(Xavier) that led Imhotep Charter to 2 straight Philly Titles!!!!

I've been following this guy for at least 7 months...didn't know Mason was involved...He played on UAA's WE RT team along with Qudus Wahab and Villanova Top 100 Power Forward Eric Dixon...This guy is 6'5 220 and does everything...inside out on offense...plays incredible man defense on the wing position.. one of the most underrated players in the class of '19


MVP of the Summer Chosen League in Philly which include all the best players in Philly including 7'3 Naheem Mcleod, Dahmir Bishop, Seth Lundy!!!

This is huge.!!! if Mason lands this guy, it will be one of the best Mason recruiting classes in 5 years...no joke...love this kid!!!!!!
