We could’ve had Paar. Dave likes Oduro better. We certainly weren’t taking both.

We’ll see which one ends up having a better college career.

What does he like so much, if you have any insight? Only ask that because from recruiting sites and the highlights Paar looks like a better prospect

Looks like Paar was offered by GW within the last week. I guess a lot of things fell through for him and I'm sure he'll get playing time right away. Good for GW I guess.

I was just watching videos of Paar. He hustles and has great size. But I'm happy we went with Oduro. He seems more athletic and a better defender. Looking forward to future battles between the two.

I know nothing about paar, but he must be a stiff. Oduro has things going for him, but being an explosive athlete is not one of them.

Here’s a quick write up on Xavier Johnson a 6’2 PG we are recruiting. He mentions finishing an OV with us on Friday.

The next two months are going to be very interesting for us heading into the early signing period.

Two spots available, 4 or 5 good-looking PG prospects seemingly in the mix for one of them.

If the staff is able to secure Blakley and one of Young/Adams-Woods/Johnson to go with Oduro, that would be a really nice class to keep building depth at all five spots on the floor.

Also, kind of a bummer but Justin McKoy from NC committed to Penn State last week. Really thought he was a perfect fit for us as a skilled combo forward. Oh well.

I think we have a good shot with Xavier Johnson.

His dad is Kelvin Johnson, former Richmond player and current UCF staff member. Kelvin was a stud at DeMatha back in the day. We have a guy on staff that was also a stud at DeMatha.

A little surprised I haven't seen UCF linked with him. Doesn't look like he has any other visits scheduled yet and he has mentioned that he wants to pull the trigger before the season starts. Hopefully he calls it soon and heads to Fairfax next fall.

One of the recruiting sites had us listed a while back but we weren’t on his list of top 7 in August. Judging by that list I think we may have backed off a bit.
