Do you guys think about getting this 2019 class finished early combined with a good season, we can get a strong 2020 class?

Not sure what you mean by "strong". Each class has improved ratings wise and addressed the specific needs of the roster. If anything I could see higher rating recruits being linked to Mason, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

This is huge!!!! Chereef Knox was part of the 1-2 punch along with Top 50 guard Dahmir Bishop(Xavier) that led Imhotep Charter to 2 straight Philly Titles!!!!

I've been following this guy for at least 7 months...didn't know Mason was involved...He played on UAA's WE RT team along with Qudus Wahab and Villanova Top 100 Power Forward Eric Dixon...This guy is 6'5 220 and does everything...inside out on offense...plays incredible man defense on the wing position.. one of the most underrated players in the class of '19


MVP of the Summer Chosen League in Philly which include all the best players in Philly including 7'3 Naheem Mcleod, Dahmir Bishop, Seth Lundy!!!

This is huge.!!! if Mason lands this guy, it will be one of the best Mason recruiting classes in 5 years...no joke...love this kid!!!!!!

By "strong" I mean higher ranked players that are in our backyard such as wahab and walker. Guess I dont like seeing other schools taking players that are close to GMU but we can get on their top [insert number]. Don't get me wrong I do like what we are bringing in.

If we can annually have a shot at winning the A-10 and making the tournament the recruits giving us a serious look will increase. I believe these next 2 seasons we have a shot at doing both of the above, which should help Paulsen and staff sell the program to higher level recruits. That said Paulsen obviously knows what he likes and has a great eye for talent, sometimes the best fits aren't the highest rated guys. There will also always be players that won't want to play in his style of play.

I agree with you. I’d love to see mason get more attention from higher ranked recruits too especially in the area.

Agreed. Even if the program succeeds and recruiting continues to get better, I hope they recruit based off need and fit in more ways than one. I don’t see why they wouldn’t. It’ll all work itself out.

He's probably going to ODU and threw JMU on there for "suspense." Makes sense for him. He went back to Virginia Beach and probably wants to stay close to home.

Well he could play a huge role in helping Mason become one of those programs throughout his 4 years. Can't say I am a big fan of his mentality. Bring on Mr. Knox.
