Just for sake of context, Patrick Behan has only been St. John's head coach since June. Perhaps he didn't have as much influence/input into the decision as we would've liked.

I don't know what to think about Lamar, other than we recruited Dowtin and Wood from his school and lost both to other A-10 schools. Interesting.

I don't know about concerned, but this is a pretty big disappointment. Obviously a '18 PG is a priority for this staff and it seems very likely that they will miss on their top 2 targets.

Not gonna lie, Wood to UMASS is a gut punch. Lamar Butler and his Head Coach with ties to Mason, and couldn't convince him to go to GMU? unacceptable. That kid should've been in our back pocket.

He made the right move for his own playing career though. We have 3 PG's on next years roster already. He would've seen minimal playing time if any behind Otis, Kier, and fight with any time with Greene.

I hope you're right, but I tend to think that we'll have to wait for next year for a truly kick a** season. I look forward to watching the progression this season though.

Yeah it's hard to imagine losing Moore and Jenkins and improve.

But I think the league as a whole is down this year, and on paper we have some much upside. It will be an interesting season. Can't wait

Who graduate no one this upcoming offseason, 3 and 4 star kids want to play immediately
