If Adams wants to go to a team with 2 to 3 young pgs already, good luck to him then.

Hurley convinced Dowtin to join a team that already had EC Matthews, Jared Terrell, Jarvis Garrett, Stanford Robinson and Christion Thompson at the guard spots.

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see him land Adams too. Not sure why but kids obviously seem to enjoy playing for him.

Tre Wood, point guard, St. John’s
Wood has not publicized the schools he is ultimately choosing from, but the 6-foot guard took official visits to the University of Massachusetts, George Mason and Towson. Wood first visited UMass, then George Mason and finally Towson two weekends ago. Official visits are usually a solid indication of the schools a player is considering.
If Wood verbally commits to George Mason, he would be the second D.C.-area senior to pledge to the Patriots’ 2018 class. George Mason landed the verbal commitment of Loudoun Valley guard Jordan Miller, a 6-foot-4 lefty scorer, at the start of September. Wood and Miller would give the Patriots a very solid backcourt into the future, with Wood’s ability to space the floor from the point guard spot opening up driving lanes for Miller, who likes to go to the rim. Wood is also a very solid slasher and his ability to get inside the paint creates a lot of scoring opportunities for teammates.
But Wood, who played his AAU ball for Team Takeover, seems to have a few schools still in the running.
“With Tre, I think you get a lead guard who is going to be able to step into a program with incredible experience at the high school and AAU level,” St. John’s Coach Pat Behan said on Monday. “You get a kid who can run an offense, is a really good on-ball defender and can create for his teammates, too.”

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned in this thread -- Wood's coach at St. John's (Pat Behan) played for Paulsen during DP's first two seasons at Bucknell.

Its fun thinking about what kind of players we will land after the next two seasons. The team is so balanced with a good coach at the helm. This unit hasn't played together yet, so I'm sure there will be rust, but the potential is there.

We really should have a school sanctioned lamb day when we play vcu. Would be fun, and delicious. Or even if Brions or Oh George had lamb specials. Surprised that doesn't happen tbh.

Brad Edwards - if you read this board, can you please cook us lamb when we play vcu.

Brion's is too busy having private events for travelling teams to do something that caters to us before games. vcu fans get out of their shift at University Mall McDonalds and stumble over the Brion's for a mocktail or 2 before each game.

They are building a Popeye's where the old Pizza Hut at Twinbrook used to be.

I am very excited about this. I love the Popeye's Chicken.

Maybe we could all meet there for a game before one of the teams we are playing at the Eagle Bank Arena?

Jim, do you have any insight into why Adams has Wyoming in his final list? And it looks like he took an official visit there. Seems odd in view of the his other final schools and some of the other schools that offered him.

Not Jim, but my guess is that they paid him.
