Tre is taking a visit to Towson, I think this weekend. We should know one way or the other after that.

I'll be surprised if we get Adams. Just a gut feeling, but I see him picking URI.

If URI has a great season and a big-time job opens up for Hurley like it did for Miller, I could easily see him cash in his chips after this season.

The only ones who will be hurt in that case are the recruits who believe him when he says he's there for the long haul.

URI is senior heavy I believe. I’m fully expecting Hurley to follow Wade and Miller out of the A-10 just like they did with their senior heavy classes. Get out when your good and have to rebuild a bit.

With the exception of maybe McKillop at Davidson, I don't think there is a current A10 head coach who is content to be at their respective school for the rest of their career. And as much I love Dave and feel like he loves Mason, I don't doubt for a second he would bolt for a bigger and better program if the right opportunity presented itself.

That's what it is incumbent on Brad Edwards and Angel Cabrera to do everything they can to not only keep Dave happy but to continue to improve the program, the offerings for student athletes — like the practice facility — and the fan experience.

I have a feeling Rhoades at vcu will actually stay for a good amount of time. His family has been in the area a long time. He’s mentioned this being his dream job multiple times. Plus they’ll pay him decent as we’ve seen they were willing to pay Wade and Smart.

Smart loved vcu until Texas came to town and offered him $21M guaranteed.

Same for Wade and LSU, Grant and Alabama and Capel and Oklahoma.

Rhoades is no different than any other coach. He has a price and once he is in demand enough that someone is willing to pay it, he's outta there.

Yes, I would like it if our current coach didn't leave to take over an ACC bottom-feeder. If he's going to leave eventually, at least make it be a legit step up from Mason.

Pretty sure Georgia/Georgia Tech/URI/Wyoming/Mason were all part of his final five or whatever, or at least pretty involved, so some other coach visiting him doesn't surprise me. That said, it'd certainly be nice if he just made a decision, but who knows.
