We also need two players on the court at the same time that is capable of running point. If one of the three get injured, then what?
Kier isn't a true PG is he, we don't yet know what we have in Green although a lot of us think he's gonna be good. Ideally you don't want a freshmen to be your starting PG which could happen if we waited another year to recruit a PG. Livingston did well starting his Freshmen year when we were desperate after the virus left but it was without some freshmen mistakes.not sure why we need another PG. we already have Otis, Kier, and Green on the roster next year. We need bigs.
Thanks for the obvious shot at me, but I'm certainly not predicting Adams is going to pick Mason. Just wanted to lay out what the competition looked like. He had a great visit and we at least have a shot.
I also don't recall predicting Troy would become an all-A10 player. I did believe he had that potential and still think he could've contributed here eventually, but this isn't science. Sometimes guys just don't develop for whatever reason.
just saw Tre Wood's mix tape. His game is eerily similar to Marquise Moore's game however his release is smooth. sign me up! Hope he enjoys his visit today. lightning quick.
I have been thinking about this. None of the bigs are graduating after the next two seasons and it seems Paulsen's system is conducive to having someone with guard skills (and can rebound) at the "4". You can basically add Reuter to next years class, so there will be another big to go with Caliste and Daniel.Do you guys think we need a big this year or can wait to get a big in 19?
Tre has been getting some Mason love on twitter the last few days, and it looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend in Fairfax. #LetsGetWood

Agreed. We're not linked at this point to anyone that I see contributing as a freshman big next year. We don't need one ready to contribute until Reuter and/or Relvao leave the program.I'd want to red-shirt any big we get in 2018. Reuter and Ralvao will be juniors and Calixte will be a sophomore. Unless Calixte and Reuter turn out to be not as good as advertised, anyone coming in next year isn't going to get a whole lot of playing time behind those three.
Rhode Island just got a commitment from a PG.
They also got a SG commit earlier this week, so potential landing spots are seemingly shrinking. Unless Adams is set on GT, I don't think he can wait until mid-October to visit and then make a decision. That gives them three PGs for 2018-19 and yet some of the posters on their board still think they're going to get Adams.
Must be nice to have cause for such arrogance, although I'm not sure Rhody has earned that with one NCAA bid since the 1990s.
