At this point I’d be happy to have a 2-day, 2 games per day showcase. Mason vs either American or Howard, with the other playing GW on day 1. Winners of those games play Maryland and Georgetown on day two. Rotate the ‘bracket’ year to year so that we eventually play everyone.
That way, we don’t play GW out of conference and MD and Gtown don’t have to play each other if they don’t want to.
you should send this idea to each of the school ADs, Head BB coaches and head of the BB&T Classic.
This would be a great Thanksgiving or Christmas or pre league game tournament
The more I think about it, the more I'd prefer Towson and Navy over Howard and American though.you should send this idea to each of the school ADs, Head BB coaches and head of the BB&T Classic.

We will also play two games beforehand in Fairfax... those opponents are TBA. Last year Jackson St, Omaha, Tennessee Tech and UMES were the play in competitors
it's a good guess.. but remember we played CS Northridge this year and they were the farthest team geographically from us... plus we just played NCC recently so I doubt we play themWell, that was fast.
Looking at the map, I'm guessing Cincinnatti/Mason will host Western Michigan and North Carolina Central, While Ole Miss/Baylor will host Nicholls State and Southern.
Maybe extend the Veteran's Classic to 2 daysThe more I think about it, the more I'd prefer Towson and Navy over Howard and American though.

Home opener is American. Also home games vs Wagner, and Navy.
Navy was led by 3 seniors and returnee Abdullah. They should be a bit down next year. They also have 20 guys on their roster next year so hopefully someone at the Pat Dome can procure some more seats for the benchHome opener is American. Also home games vs Wagner, and Navy.
I was really hoping we would open with UMBC. It would have been an easy PR move. Missed opportunity, IMO. I would have scheduled to open at UMBC if they wanted to and have them return the game next season.
Don't mind hosting regional teams. Maybe that will get us an extra TV game or two with MASN.
