Forgot Howard University
although I am not sure if Howard is consistently competitive to American
IMO they are not competitive to the other 4
Philly's Big 5 have a longer history and tradition,
and at one point there was talk of adding Drexel or replacing Penn with Drexel
Georgetown-MD series was a few years ago, it was said that it wont be renewed anytime soon - no reasons given
Maryland didnt make the post season this year, some of their non league schedule is weak, they could probably afford to add in GWU and American as easy local wins
Only perfect because they won enough of those games and dominated the A-10.Mark LaFrance@GoMasonSID 4h4 hours ago
Perfect non-Power 5 scheduling model is Rhody
✅ Bought games vs low majors picked to finish in top-3 of their leagues (no sub-300)
✅ Home-and-homes vs strong mid-major teams
✅ Got shots at Seton Hall and UVa in NYC
✅ Played at Alabama
Top-10 RPI all season #marchmadness
At this point I’d be happy to have a 2-day, 2 games per day showcase. Mason vs either American or Howard, with the other playing GW on day 1. Winners of those games play Maryland and Georgetown on day two. Rotate the ‘bracket’ year to year so that we eventually play everyone. It would never happen, but it would be a great showcase for DMV basketball and might convince a few local prospects to stay home?

http://www.barclayscenter.com/news/...announces-agreements-with-acc-and-atlantic-10
“It’s exciting to bring the elite ACC and its storied men’s basketball tournament history to Brooklyn,” said Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark. “We’re looking forward to extending our Atlantic 10 partnership starting in 2019 through 2021 and creating competitive inter-conference doubleheaders with the ACC and the A-10. I want to thank ACC Commissioner John Swofford and Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette McGlade for their commitment to Barclays Center and to Brooklyn. It’s clear that our position with both Conferences validates Barclays Center as the leading college basketball venue in the country.”
If I am reading this right, it is possible an ACC school could be in the cards.
COuld it be that our Louisville game was a part of it?I believe this was part of the deal when the ACC bought out the A-10's Championship Contract in order to go head to head with the Big East. There was a Miami-GWU home and away series, not sure of the other games

Wake Forest-Richmond

Guys this already is happening. I only looked up 5 ACC schools and they all played an A10 school
It is just weird that St Joe's is the only school not to play an ACC school this year. Not sure about the others, but the Louisville game was a one off buy game so I doubt it was part of any scheduling package.

Miami played two A10 teams - @ GW and a weird "neutral" site game vs LaSalle in Reading, PA
and the game at GW was for Chris Lykes out of Gonzaga HSMiami played two A10 teams - @ GW and a weird "neutral" site game vs LaSalle in Reading, PA
So if the big man from flint hill goes to Kentucky are getting the wildcats in the pat dome? He's seems good enough to get that promise?and the game at GW was for Chris Lykes out of Gonzaga HS
