All of which should have their names in the rafters.
Hell, give me a CD recording of the Green Machine and I'd be ecstatic.
No matter what the giveaway is there will be some people who it's really not their thing. With that said, I would like to see car magnets, lanyards, or a drawstring sports bag. Those are things I'd actually use.

You can get car magnets for less than a dollar each

You can get lanyards for around a buck

You can get drawstring bags for around a buck

Hell, give me a CF recording of the Green Machine and I'll be more than happy.

Are there copyright concerns? I know someone brought that up about the CD the vcu band did, but they seemed to go ahead anyway.

It's possible. I would assume it would be pretty minimal cost to produce a few thousand CD's though even if you're paying a few cents in royalties per song. At least cheaper than replica jerseys.

has anyone bought tickets to this game yet on the UPenn site? if so what section? According to the seat map the sections behind the Mason bench are sections 104,105,204 & 205.

I don't think I've ever been this excited to go to a regular season away game.

thats what it looks like according to the seat map however, im thinking maybe, just maybe, some of those (sec. 104/105) will be released by Mason for us. Would be nice to know if we will have a chance to buy them through the school or if we are on our own.

Whenver we have close away games, you should check the Patriot Club tab at gomason.com to see if they have anything listed under events. Unfortunately, it is often difficult for bus trips to be planned by the PC because of lack of participation, so they are not always announced super far in advance.

You can call the Patriot Club at 703-993-4147 or email lbushar@gmu.edu to ask if they are planning a bus trip, and you can call the Ticket Office (703) 993-3270 to see if they will be having a block of tickets.

Yes, best to call to register AND confirm. These have been cancelled without notice many times and the last St Joes trip to Philly I got left behind receiving a text message as everyone was boarding the bus at GMU campus. These are fun trips (I went on the one to Maryland many years back), but you do need to follow up as the date approaches.

Got a response back from the Patriot club. here is what i got regarding the game at UPenn. Looks like we will have to wait and see a little bit longer. Ill keep everyone posted if i hear anything.

"Thank you for your suggestion of us doing a bus trip to UPenn. We haven't decided on a bus trip yet, but we typically try to choose a conference opponent. I will make this suggestion though once we start discussing which trip we are going to try to make.

If this isn't a game we make a trip for our ticket office should be able to help you with tickets to the game once we get closer to the date.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you again for the suggestion."

Got another response from someone different pertaining to away game ticket blocks.

"Thanks for your email. Our ticket office is still working on ticket blocks for away games. We haven't scheduled any bus trips yet but will let you know if we decide to do any."

Sounds like it just may be a road trip to Philly. Still, well worth it to see the Palestra.

According to google it is 2 hours, 41 minutes.

Apparently there are tolls on the way. About $16 worth on the way and $8 coming back. Why the difference I don't know and I got this from a website from 2015. Either way, plan on paying some tolls.
