I'm a little surprised by this, but I guess there's little chance of brand confusion on the East Coast. My in-laws are from Wisconsin, and it's pretty common for them to refer to the University of Wisconsin as just "Madison".

I believe there is a website that facilitates users' meetings. It's something-Madison, I think. Maybe they're trying to exploit brand confusion.

It would probably be a brilliant marketing campaign if JMU went with something like this: "James Madison University. We get people laid more than Ashley Madison."

Hey, we all gotta be known for something, right?

Judging by the male to female ratio on the list of names revealed (including one Mason coach!), I don't think very many people were getting laid...

I wonder if vcu would be the final home game then, since it seems the last few years, the final game has been at their arena.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- A record 107 national television games highlight the 2015-16 Atlantic 10 Conference men’s basketball TV package, which the league announced Thursday, along with the complete slate of conference games. For the first time in league history, each school will make at least eight national television appearances, and many teams will make significantly more.

The TV package features 77 conference games, plus all 13 games of the 2016 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship and 17 non-conference matchups via the league’s four media partners. This will mark the third year of the A-10’s eight-year media television partnerships with ESPN, CBS Sports Network and NBCSN and the first year of a new multi-year agreement with American Sports Network (ASN). ASN is composed of regional sports network affiliates and Sinclair-owned television stations, 23 of which are located in Atlantic 10 markets.

The Atlantic 10’s television exposure has nearly doubled over the past four years. In 2012-13, A-10 schools combined to make 95 national TV appearances, an average of 5.9 appearances per school. This year, A-10 schools will make 171 TV appearances via the conference package, an average of more than 12 per school.

i really like the balance of the schedule this season. Davidson game is surely homecoming, vcu on a wednesday night and Richmond to close out the season at home. Cant wait till November.

With only minorly-tinted glasses on, I can get to 15 or even 16 wins with this schedule. Of course with Jollay as our most promising small forward, I could also see us posting another 9 or 10 win season too.

I would guess that all of our remaining A10 home games, as well as the road games at JMU, Towson, Richmond, and Rhode Island, would be candidates for local/regional TV (e.g. MASN or CSN).
