Thanks Dan--his skill set would add to the more athletic focus of this year's recruits. So many DC kids get picked up now by the private schools that it nice seeing Coolidge producing some good recruits over the past few years. I think he may end up a diamond in the rough. Nice to see him back in a public school producing outstanding numbers and clearly getting interest from some good programs.

Much like I prefer our athletes stay out of Fat Tuesday's, because I can't think of a reason anyone who respects their body should walk in that place.

It was a pleasant surprise this morning to open my Washington Post — yes, this old-school newspaper guy still reads the print edition — and see a giant picture of Trey Porter dunking. He had 16 points in a win over Freedom, which improved Potomac to 12-0 on the season. Porter's 3 two-handed dunks were the focus of the article in today's post.

On the recruiting front, did I read a post a while back that we were looking at some JUCO scoring guards? Any updates? (I'm too lazy to go back and read through 8+ pages).

The other thing I wonder- do our coaches have a list of guys who will be able to take advantage of the 5th year transfer rule. I'd think they'd have to, yes?

I was making a joke with Tom. For Moore being recruited, it still did paint the picture of desperation to me, but that has nothing to do with his ability nor did I think he was a bum because of it.

Can you say Hewitt was somewhat desperate? I love moore but he cant shoot at all. With all the strikeouts Hewitt had at pg one could argue this was a settle. If he signs a quartermann type, moore is he new edwards.
