How is a high ball screen dribble drive offense confusing?

Curious and wanted to check, are you implying that for the most part players at GT for most of 7 years and then here for 2.5 are just idiots that cant execute a "simple" system?

While I don't know the ins and outs of Hewitts offense, the basic principle is a motion offense with a ball screen for the pg, not sure what is so difficult about that. Unlike most on these boards I try not to obsess about the Ga Tech years. The word "simple" never came out of my mouth. P49, I thought you were confined to all the Paul Hewitt threads, where you can repeat yourself again and again.

Implying that it isnt hard to learn, or in other possibly simple, or easy or basic. Yes? Dont twist around your words/meaning/point and lose your spine now when somebody holds you to something and then revert to personal barbs. Just reeks of desperation.......

You are getting a pretty bad habit of being a broken record as well....as is everything we have to talk about here these days. So if you dont want to talk about things that relate to Mason ball (where the same things happen over and over again) get your grumpy a** off the computer and do something else.

I'm far from a broken record, I've discussed several things just today that involve mason basketball and all were fairly different. Not sure where I got personal other than mentioning the repetitive nature of your posts, if thats personal it certainly wasn't my intention.

I asked a simple question, Im not sure why that question would be viewed as smartass. Unlike you who incorrectly assumes, I was attempting to clarify your position so Id know where you were coming from. Nothing in it was sarcastic or smartass, you just misinterpreted it. It was also a question that had nothing to with my "posting nature" btw.

Fair enough...back to the initial idea, it really seems as though PH runs a system where the guys are free to move around and make plays. I have no idea why it looks so disjointed at times. I know it seems to put a lot on the guards, which is a spot where we have some significant issues. BTW I'm a former HS football teammate of Ahmad Brooks, its great to see him playing to his unlimited potential.

The problem is simple and been talked about ad naseum....Hewitt has to have a PG to run his system well. We dont have one lol.....

Ahmad has been a favorite of mine since he came over. Guy was an animal at Hylton and Ive been so glad that he turned some of his issues around. Really glad that Singletary took the time to get him on the right path. Hope you didnt have to run an oklahoma drill against him lol

By the way, you can click in the upper right to get data on Lockett by year. I assume most folks want his stats for this year primarily so just click on this year's link for game by game data.

Judging by the stats, Lockett is def. more of an inside guy. Lockett has only attempted five 3 balls all season and made exactly 0. Look at those rebound numbers though....looks like a kid that hustles his butt off.
