GIVING DAY 2023
I'd love for Hewitt to fire Houston and Copes follows him out of town. Copes is a fouling machine but he thinks he's getting jobbed every time they call one on him. His reactions after he gets called for fouls used to be comical, now I just find it infuriating. Kid is really in over his head.

The jaw dropping innocent looking face he does is absurd..and it happens after every foul practically.

Wow. Top 5 player in VA. I like the "Smooth and Effortless Scorer"

4 players from that list are from Paul VI and the one that had listed us (Reaves) hasn't mentioned us recently. PVI is loaded in their soph and jr classes (6-7 D-1 players) and despite the fact that we have Holloway on our roster and are within walking distance of their campus, we don't seem to even be on the radar...A couple of them are listing ODU, so it's not as if they're all High Major locks.

Could be they don't want to stay so close? We never landed another DeMatha player either, despite having Isaiah Tate on our roster. I believe vcu just landed one, though.

A couple of guys in their senior class seemed to be legitimately considering us, but we took other guys for the same spots.

Mayimba coming to the Penn game tonight with St. James teammate, 2015 PG Justin Robinson.

Justin Robinson‏@5Alive_
GMU game with the bro @GabonHoop23 and my big bro Brandon #OTF

It looks like we've shown interest in Robinson, but I don't think we've offered. He's taken unofficial visits to Georgetown and Temple.

@Future150 tweeted that he has an offer from ODU and interest from Georgetown, George Washington, George Mason, Temple, and Vandy. See https://twitter.com/Future150/status/412725573912240128.

At least he got to see a win instead of the collapse where we lost the game like South Florida. Plus, he has to sit there thinking, "Sweet, I'm going to get a ton of minutes next year!" haha

Also the traditional, "I'm going to get Mason back to the Final Four" that most recruits seem to say. ;)

6'5" Kobe Eubanks '14 Our Savior NY list Pittsburgh, Miami, Florida State, and Ole Miss as his primary suitors.

Given the top five he listed, I guess we can't really be surprised — especially given how average our season has been so far. I would be shocked if he chose Miami considering how young they are. I realize Eubanks is very good, but it's going to be tough to crack a rotation with so many underclassmen.

Agreed. He could change his mind quickly, but being that he has Florida ties, it isn't shocking that he has two Florida schools in his top 5. Maybe the OCM is brainwashing him with his charm

I just wonder what other players they are after for the 4th scholarship since this one looks like hes a bit out of reach.

Ali-Rakhman still has us listed although he just tweeted "it's going to be impossible to pick a college."

Elisha Boone as well still has us listed.

And we're still in Richard Lee's top 5 but that includes Florida, Miami, UMD and VT so I don't know how much chance we have with him. Lee is the highest rated of those three, all guards.

Just looking at some stats, it appears Eric Lockett is averaging 16.5 ppg and 10 boards. Stats show that he basically carries his team.

Some time back I saw us potentially linked to this young man Jamall Gregory. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...b8802c-76b3-11e3-8963-b4b654bcc9b2_story.html. I saw his box score last night had him with 20 points and 20 rebounds. At 6'4" he can do this:
View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpTfgps2DRs
. According to the article, he transferred from O'Connell. The criticism with his game has been his shooting but it looks like he worked on it considerably over the summer. He is hitting 80% from the free throw line this year. According to the Washington Post stats he is averaging over 18 points and 13 rebounds per game. Coolidge is 9-3 putting a pasting on a pretty decent Herndon team. Does anyone know if this kid is committed and if not whether we are still showing interest in him?

From Dec 10th: "Coach Jones notes that Jamal Gregory has several Division I scholarship offers, including the University of Southern California, the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, Cal State-Northridge, and Delaware to name a few ."
