Where Are They Now?

That being said, I don't think they are long for the CAA either.
Agreed. With UConn leaving, does the American invite the Dukes as a replacement? Schools already playing I-A football that are in bigger media markets (and this is what drives realignment) are ODU and UMass. UMass would make some sense for the American in that its replacing one big New England school with I-A football with another. I would think UMass would jump, wouldnt they? Then we can talk about them in this thread too (trying not to get off the 'where are they now' topic).

Absolutely. Great pts. I hope that they take another look at Kevin Sutton. They made a mistake, in my opinion, not inking him in 2016 when they went with Rowe. He's doing a nice job up at Rhody under Cox. He might have higher aspirations at this pt. though, but a jump to the AAC could help.

http://www.statesmenathletics.com/article/8701.php:

"Oskaloosa—William Penn proved itself to be the alpha dog in Heart of America Athletic Conference as they captured the tournament title to pair alongside its regular season championship.

The Statesmen (30-3) split with the Pride (24-9) in the regular season but won the rubber match on the biggest stage to this point of the season with a 96-90 victory.

WPU jumped out to a 14-4 opening lead shortly after the jump with Karmari Newman (Jr., Detroit, Mich., Digital Communication) getting off to a good start with five points."

"They opened up the lead to as many as nine but the Pride wouldn't go away without a fight as they cut the lead to just four points with 21 seconds left. Newman was subsequently fouled on the following possession and converted on both the free-throws to put the game and conference tournament title on ice."

"Next Up: William Penn will await its matchup for the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round and will find out who they play on Wednesday at 7 pm."

https://www.zola.com/wedding/cadenceandmyles:

"We met at freshman orientation at Mars Hill University in 2012. We both played basketball and were in the same English class together. Over the next few months, we became best friends. We were always together whether it was shooting in the gym, studying in the library for hours, or talking on the bus on the way home from games. We decided to take the next step and began dating in March 2013.

Myles ended up transferring to George Mason to play basketball the following year, but we felt that we wanted to continue our relationship despite being 7 hours from each other and having to maintain demanding academic and basketball schedules. It was a challenging couple of years, but we only grew closer, and in the fall of 2017, we both began grad school at UNC Greensboro and George Mason, respectively.

On November 24, 2018 we got engaged on the Bow Bridge in Central Park, New York City and decided we wanted to set a wedding date in September after we both graduate with our masters degrees. We are grateful for your support through the years and are excited to continue our journey with you!"
