Not sure if this has been mentioned... but it looks like Ryan Pearson is also taking part in The Tournament, playing for Team Fancy.

This is from today's Philadelphia Daily News:

The Sixers will work out former Friends' Central and Duke standout Amile Jefferson as part of a six-person predraft workout Monday. Forward Derek Willis (Kentucky) and guards Jabari Bird (California), James Blackmon Jr. (Indiana), Frank Mason III (Kansas), and Marquise Moore (George Mason) are the other participants.

Marquise had a workout with the Houston Rockets, too.

I hope scouts don't write him off after seeing his jumper. Granted, we all know the typical rounds for a Mason player, few NBA tryouts and off to Europe.
It would be cool if he could get himself into their summer league team and BA comes back to join again. An all Mason backcourt in summer league could be as good as it gets.

Chris that is definitely not bringing the hype you and Bryan are trying to accomplish on ByGeorge, don't be negative

I'm pretty sure NBA scouts have already seen tape on him and know all about his jumper. If he makes an NBA roster, it's not going to be because of his shooting ability.

I agree, and I love Quise, but don't you think he is the type of player that looks better in games than practice? I would think these workouts don't play to his strengths.

I've never seen him practice, but I think he's the type of person that puts his head down and works his butt off every minute he's on the floor, whether it's in a game, in practice, or in the gym.

He has an outside shot because he excels at a few things (getting to the rim, rebounding, on-ball defense). He's athletic enough to be in the NBA, but a team is going to have to take a chance on a back-up PG who can't shoot...that's his Achilles heel.

I would say 15 years ago Moore would being playing in the league. For better or for worse the league has becoming a shooting league.

I wish him the best luck, but I am not expecting him to be on a roster next season.

I just peeked at the mock draft, and noticed that Philly has 4 (!!!) second round picks, and Houston has two in the second round. Maybe he has a shot after all! Go Quise!
