Didn't watch it but he did alright starting and getting the W against Jeff Samardzija. 3 runs in 5 innings. Pretty impressive considering His first MLB game was a start. Mattingly threw him right in the deep end. Hope to see him succeed.

The stat line is pretty impressive. He missed a couple easy layups though. I think he finished the night 3-7 shooting.

He missed early shots, and to me that just says he wasn't warm up yet. That's the problem with not starting, you get subbed in and everyone else is warm and you need a few possessions to knock the rust off.

4 offensive rebounds is important, though, extends possession. If he can rebound like that against NBA quality bigs, he's got a chance, because who doesn't want a backup center who can come in and grab a bunch of rebounds to salt away a game (so long as he can defend against NBA players that is)?

Yeah man. I think he has a real chance, especially since Hewitt is on the clippers staff.
