Tom Boswell in the Post today picks the Royals in 7; Adam Kilgore picks the Royals in 5.

Tim Kurkjian, on Kornheiser this morning, picks the Royals in 7, after paying tribute to Dayton Moore for putting the team together and mentioning that he is a Mason grad.

So---looks like Kilgore nailed the prediction! Quite an impressive performance by the Royals--Bill Brown must surely (and deservedly) feel proud!

http://www.thepeterboroughexaminer....cademy-program-for-peterborough-youth-players:

"The best basketball player Peterborough has produced wants to pass along what he's learned to local youth.

Jesse Young, a former captain of Canada's national team, an eight-year pro and NCAA standout, is creating the Jesse Young Basketball Academy.

There will be three components - small group sessions starting this fall; a development-focused spring house league and two summer camps."

"He says he's a product of two basketball systems. North America where the focus is on athleticism and physical development and Europe where the focus is more on skill development and tactics. He thinks he can combine both elements to provide a unique perspective for young players."

Wasn't sure where to put this so I'll stick it here. I'm a Knicks fan, and I'm loving St. Joe's product Langston Galloway so far this year. Guy has been clutch. Undrafted I believe - played his way onto the Knicks through the D-League. Think he played against Mason during their first year in the A-10.

Paul Hewitt sighting. Happened to click on the GW -USF game just a few minutes ago on MASN, and there he was! Nice looking suit, of course. And making reasonable observations on the game.

Ahmad Gilbert has only played in one of Minnesota's first three games, where he logged 7 minutes and went 0-2 from the floor. I'm sure he will have a good career there, but I can't help but think he had a really good chance to start for us or at least log a lot of minutes a game as a freshman. #stillbitter

He certainly would have been a strong candidate to start at the three. But Grayer and Abram want to be here and are starting to get comfortable with playing D1. I'll take that any day.
