Timi is actually under contract with the New England Revolution of MLS...hopefully after a season getting minutes with the Rhinos we might see him getting on the field for the senior team (would be pretty cool to see him out there with Jermaine Jones and Lee Nguyen).

Yeah--real exciting game last night. Royals are the real thing; here's hoping they can handle the Mets young pitchers.

If I'm not mistake, Citifield is pretty spacious; if so that should help the Royals who have good speed and are strong defensively.

Short shout-out to Dayton Moore on Tony Kornheiser's radio show this morning. Tony was talking with Wilbon by phone and commenting on how the Kansas City GM (he admitted he actually didn't know who it was) had done a wonderful job putting together a very good team in a non-major market. While he was talking about it with Wilbon, one of the others on the show interjected that Dayton Moore was the GM and that he was a former assistant baseball coach at Mason.
