http://www.usbasket.com/NBLCanada/news/422883/The-Storm-keeps-Whack-for-another-season:

"The Island Storm (NBL Canada) re-signed 24-year old American guard Rashad Whack(190-81kg-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: Arete Sports Agency). He played there last season. In 41 NBL Canada games he averaged 12.2ppg, 2.8rpg, 3.5apg and 1.4spg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in NBL Canada Atlantic Division. They also advanced to the league semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was awarded USBasket.com All-NBL Canada Rookie of the Year and selected to All-Rookie Team. Whack's college team won NEC Tournament in 2014."

Probably didn't want to play overseas and the D-League doesn't exactly pay the bills. What is surprising is that he didn't go into coaching.

On the other hand, good for him!

To be able to string together his meager college career into a pro job overseas is impressive.
