I dont begrudge L from leaving and I won’t when English goes but two things pissed me off after L left 1) L took Edwards instead of waiting for Larkin, left and immediately snapped up Larkin and 2) he never brought Miami to Fairfax in all these years (as though he were in danger of losing that game).

Tell me why Providence's fan base should be excited? Would we be excited if KE's replacement was a CAA coach who's win percentage is ~.500 and got thumped in every away game?

Good chance we’re much better off with Tony Skinn. He’s well respected as a coach and recruiter. At a minimum, we’d have someone who gives a s*** about the school/program.

I hope this lights a fire under our fan base to get more involved and be more engaged, and our administration to pony up the resources needed to make our program legitimate and respected (think they’re starting to do this, but lots of work to do).

It’s very possible. I mean, I seriously doubt we’d match what Providence could throw at him, so if it’s a bag and the Big East he’s looking for… there’s probably nothing we can do. But I know it won’t be for lack of trying by our leadership.

Sad - i dont begrudge KE, nor wish him bad things, but i am sad at his leaving

I am guessing he got at least a $500k raise and the chance to coach in a higher-level conference - Basketball wise

But i wish he had stayed a bit longer to actually accomplish some things here - A10 standings and post season play

and i stil dont understand why Providence would take him without some level of concrete achievements
