$750K giveback due to exiting early?
What was PC paying Cooley?I’m told Masons leadership is still working this, so the “done deal” talk is pretty presumptuous. I suppose anything can still happen, because who knows what PC will throw at CKE to sweeten the pot… but I don’t think it’s over yet.

Don’t think Mason can/will match that…do you?Cooley had total compensation of just more than $3.75 million at Providence during the 2020 calendar year, according to the school's most recently available federal tax records. That amount includes all forms of compensation, including bonuses paid and the value of perks and other benefits. The school reported his base salary as $3.15 million and his bonus pay as $322,500

ESPN. Didn't they used to be a sports network?Espn reporting its a done deal too
It’s very possible. I mean, I seriously doubt we’d match what Providence could throw at him, so if it’s a bag and the Big East he’s looking for… there’s probably nothing we can do. But I know it won’t be for lack of trying by our leadership.Or Kim is just leveraging us to get more money out of Providence.
Sad - i dont begrudge KE, nor wish him bad things, but i am sad at his leavingEspn reporting its a done deal too
