It's getting there. It's only a step or two away from being on par with most schools. A few more dorms, a few less parking lots, greek row and boom, massive difference in perception.

A few more dorms and we have more oncampus housing than Tech. I would say its there.

Fun fact, rankings depend on the number of donors (e.g. percentage of alumni) as well as the amount of donations. So if we could get a significant number of the alumni who don't donate to just give 10 dollars a year, we could greatly improve one component of our ranking. It doesn't take a large donation to make a difference.

Yep, this was the driving force behind IPTAY at Clemson. Also, a lot of large foundation grants are given based on the percentage giving by alumni.

Watching the Oregon-Kansas game. Those Oregon unis are sweet! Just change "Fighting Ducks" to "Mason Patriots" and they'd look great in Fairfax!

Those Oregon Nike uniforms look great. I think if you ask our players (Ian, Marquise, Karmari etc.) they would prefer wearing Nike over adidas.

Assuming Nike gives us the same deal as adidas, of course. Unfortunately, we do not know the specifics of what/if Nike offered us.

At least we get to see a new set of Adidas unis next year. Maybe an alternate too?

I really hope coach let's them have their names on the back.

Yeah, I'd like to see a new design this year. We traditionally change it up every 2 years or so.

I know that we're trying to slightly distance ourselves from the "George" on the jersey's but is it a forgone conclusion that we're definitely not going back to George Mason? I'm interested to see where we go with our branding and would love to see names return to the back of the jersey too.

I've heard Paulsen say he wants his players to play for the name on the front of the jerseys and not the back. I get that, but in the beginning of last season I needed the names on the back with all the new players.

Obviously after a couple games you don't need it, but from a fan perspective it sure is nice

"he wants his players to play for the name on the front of the jerseys and not the back."

interesting perspective, Paulsen should trademark that quote.

It seems like there has been a big push across all sports to use the "Mason" across the front in the same font (Refrigerator Heavy). I kind of like it now that all the sports have the same basic look to them.

"Adidas
(ADDYY) is the fastest growing brand among teens, the survey found. The company's apparel rose to fifth favorite from tenth place a year ago. Meanwhile, Adidas footwear preference reached an all-time high for females and a decade high for males. Piper also found that Adidas has usurped Nike as the top "new brand" worn by males."
