It was late in their Final Four season, after we waxed them by 20 in Richmond and they lost to JMU to close out the regular season.

Three weeks later, they wanted to give him a lifetime contract.

Dave's job right now and the rest of the staff is to get our team to play like they did for the first 20 minutes for a full 40 minutes. Then, get them to do it each game.

If he can figure out how to do it, we will be playing basketball in late March.

I have researched recipes for crow:

I am so ready eat one …. But alas I fear my tongue will go without the taste of this aves culinary concoction. But if I do, I will do so with pleasure in between bouts of vomiting as I try to keep it down with the dew of the mountains.

I would not be as frustrated/disappointed with the team this year had Paulsen himself not made comments about judging the team on two years. My frustration level increased when DP talked about Rueter being a possible top 5 A10 player, sorry don't see that at all. In many respects Paulsen created the expectations for this season himself. If the team doesn't live up to the hype then he needs to own it and explain to the fan base, in honest terms, why the team has not met expectations. In my opinion DP has never been totally honest or transparent with the fan base.

If he had come out in preseason saying there was still a lot of work to do and that the team was not ready yet I would have tempered my expectations, if suitable rationale was given.

Yep that is true, it was right when Jim referenced. But of course when someone on this forum told the used car salesman about it he refused to believe it..

He did create the expectations and he does have to own that for better or worse, but I doubt you are going to get the answers you seek during the season.

Is that porter moser's loyola team that last year started 9-1 & beat #5 Florida on their home court? Yea, he was probably on hot seat and cooled it with a veteran team all the way to final four.

They return almost everyone. High expectations. Let's see how they handle pressure. For sure better than us.
