Hewitt is a smart smart man. A deep thinker. What better place than Harvard to hire him after Amaker goes to Boston College?

We give Harvard Hewitt in a straight up trade for Amaker.

Other than money, which is obviously a huge factor, why would Amaker leave Harvard until the Duke job opens up? He has a better chance dancing now than he would going to a school like BC or WF. Plus, his wife works there, so that's a huge factor as well.

Really? I don't get that at all. I really have no idea how good he is or isn't, but why not go with somebody from the Duke assistant coaching tree with head coaching experience like Amaker, Mike Brey, Bobby Hurley, Johnnie Dawkins or Chris Collins?

They should grab brey or amaker. But then again, I'm a Carolina fan, so I hope they go with Collins.

This would be the perfect job for Chris. Not only would he be given an opportunity and window to build from the ground up, but it would be an easy personal transition moving from the beaches of Miami to the beaches of Wilmington. With he and his wife Julie expecting a baby this year, what better way to to make 2014 even more special than a head coaching job at a school and conference he knows so well.

I wouldn't exactly compare the two cities (or beaches for that matter, two completely different climates). Although if he owned a house in Coral Gables he could probably sell it and buy the entire city of Wilmington.

I'm not saying the beaches or climates are comparable, but it would sure be a hell of a lot easier transition than going to job openings in South Dakota or Montana. Other than Southern Cal, I'm not sure there is a better place to coach weather-wise than South Beach.

According to several media sources Jim Calhoun has interest in the coaching vacancy at BC. BC would have to ponder the idea of Calhoun/a head coach in waiting scenario.

I'd love it if we could get a guy like Steve Masiello of Manhattan. Lead Asst. at a top program, has played and coached under one of the all time great basketball coaches, and has shown some success running his own program.

I'm not sure if he'd want us though.
