It reminds me of my dad and mom always fighting and now my dad is on his third wife and my mom died.
I feel so guilty that this literally made me laugh out loud.

They are so angry and bitter. When will they realize the enemy is out THERE, not in HERE?

Also have to factor in that we don’t have a real president right now so I doubt there will be any significant regime changes in until that settles. Which looks like another year at least. At the risk of being accused by Jack Strop of sounding "resentful and bitter", I'll give you a data point from the past:
I spoke to Kathy at length at the tail end of the the Virus' 3rd year about his coaching. She showed no interest in expressing dissatisfaction with the coaching situation or pressuring the AD for a change. She was perfectly happy to sit side court and yell at the refs and see her name on every other promotion. I haven't spoken to her much since then, so i don't know if things have changed or not.
I talked to a lot of the larger donors at that time that sat in the floor section opposite the team benches. I would put the bulk of them in one of two categories:
1. Donors that have a business relationship with Mason. While it would help the value of their investment in Mason (advertising and sales of goods and services to Mason) for the team to do better, it would risk their business relationship with Mason to try to exert pressure on the AD. The latter far outweighed the former.
2. Long term supporters, like before the old Cuban man's time. Most of these people would not say a bad word about any Mason coach publicly or privately if their life depended on it. They'll go down with the ship even if it has obvious holes in it.
Regardless, there is no logical case for getting rid of Paulsen. There are just as many arguments to keep him. I'd be surprised if there were more than the few people on here and a few on twitter saying much, if anything, negative about Paulsen. I doubt the AD is hearing a lot of complaints. If the virus could not generate an uprising of the fans, there is no way that Paulsen's current record is going to make any waves at all with our fanbase.
Anyone know where the team is for their “super secret scrimmage?”
From their boards...can’t verify the validity of the info but....Looks like we lost.At Towson today.
“I heard that we won today’s scrimmage by one point. We had two players didn’t play
. And then two players had minor concussions during the game” - Towson poster
Sounds like they scored one more point. Any which way you score it, mason still lost. Most closed/secret scrimmages are not timed or scored like a normal game. I've seen these games done as 4 quarters where the score is set back to 0-0 after each quarter. I've seen them played as two or three 20 minute periods with the score put back to 0-0 after each 20 minutes. Sometimes a two 20 minute period set up gets extended if both coaches want more time and then they'll tack on an extra 5 or 10 minutes; sometimes setting the score back to 0-0 and others leaving it as is. If the host school is doing stats, they are probably scoring it as a full game and thus, the stats sheet will show Towson scored 1 more point than we did over whatever game format was used.
All this to say, yesterday's score is meaningless unless we have a full understanding of the format of the game.

Actually, there are plenty of ways to “score it”. Maybe they played 3 20 minute “halves” as suggested, and Mason won by 100 points in the first two halves. Then the walk-ons lost by 101 in 3rd. Mason won 2 periods to 1 if you score it that way.Sounds like they scored one more point. Any which way you score it, mason still lost.

Again, it doesn’t matter. It’s not supposed to matter. We’ll find out what we got soon enough.

Starters vs Towson
1. Hartwell
2. Greene
3. Miller
4. Wilson
5. Calixte
We played 2 20 minute halves with both teams throwing out different lineup combos in the 2nd half.
Sounds to me like AJ has solidified himself in the starting lineup, it will be interesting to see how Kier shakes up the starting group. DP will probably experiment with multiple lineups so starters probably don’t matter too much. AJ apparently played well, his great plays are now starting to overshadow the boneheaded plays, we’ll live with this.
XJ and Hartwell split time pretty evenly, hopefully one can earn the job by conference play.
Josh Oduro apparently hit some midrange jumpers and looked good. He also showed this at the open scrimmage although he didn’t make any of them. The confidence is important and we’ve desperately needed a center who can spread the defense out to the high post. There’s been a lot of questions surrounding Josh but there’s reasons to be optimistic.
From what I was told, AJ was already slated to start before Kier went down and Miller was coming off the bench. Glad to hear AJ is still playing well — he had a big summer but we really need him to bring it when the real games start.
If there is a game 7, probably just the players!
Heard the same but Kier’s healthy, what’s the lineup? Hartwell to the bench?
