As another stellar observer said....when do you owe these kids, who are giving you everything....something....a junk defense? Play grind it out ball 24 seconds at a time? Something.

You just cant go toe to toe every night out of principle of running your system.

I've said this multiple times...just turn every possession into a rock fight...break someone's jaw, pants someone, do something besides let them blow passed you and go right to the rack or kick it out for open 3s.

You know, I harp on the missed buckets but I bet the assists reveal the bigger problem. it's chicken or egg. Do we have so few assists because the shots don't go in? Or are we missing shots because we take bad shots (because we don't have an actual offensive scheme)?

Just impossible to get excited about this program anymore. I’ve gotten to the point where eating and drinking in the Patriot Club is the highlight of attending games.

I keep hearing some say Dave is a really good coach, but he constantly gets out-coached by almost every A10 coach (yes, including Mooney). Rhode Island ran a 3-man weave against us tonight like they were the Globetrotters and we were the Washington Generals. WTF?!!

Yep, we lost by double digits at home to probably the 7th best team in the league...what makes any of us think we could possibly win against URI or Richmond or vcu?

I know it won't happen, but if we do wind up in the PIG, I say we pull the band-aid off after this season. Another year of this will just delay the inevitable rebuild.

Some of that you have to lay on the apathy of the players, though. It's not like a 3-man weave is complicated or they've never seen it before.

He set up cupcakes for basically our entire OOC schedule. Then we get to conference play and our schedule is unforgiving? Probably because he recruited patriot league kids to play in the A-10. That’s pretty unforgiving in my opinion.

Yep, Davidson, GW, and Bonaventure all winnable games. You win those, and he can be forgiven for dropping games to Richmond, vcu, and URI (at least we'd be 5-3 right now, which would put us at 5th right now). But we're losing all these games by double digits, giving up massive runs with ice cold shooting for loooong stretches of both halves.

I dread even checking the boxscore of these games, let alone watching them.
