@gmujim92 since you are defending coach on twitter and joining him in blaming the mostly crap players he recruits you should bring that here. I have no clue how you can be this clueless about a topic
Sad part is if we were even an average 3pt shooting team and shot 70% FTs we could have won. URI didn’t look that impressive tonight. Outside of AJ no one on our side looked like they could play offense.
need to get 15+ each from Miller, Greene and AJ consistently and then somehow find another 20-25pts across the rest...
URI has much better players at top. Not even close.

I know you enjoy baiting me, but I’m not sure what’s controversial about saying it’s ultimately up to the players to make shots. We got a lot of open shots tonight and our two leading scorers threw up nothing but bricks.
And before you post anything else, yes I am aware Dave Paulsen the worst basketball coach on the planet recruited our players. He’s ultimately responsible for the Ws and L’s.
"We're playing everyone in the league, just like we do every year"DP, “We’re playing an unforgiving schedule.”
Issue being are the players asked to create on their own too much, leading to bad shots? An open shot isn’t always the best shot.
Jim, can you name or identify our set plays? How does our offense differ from Hewitts, which people ripped on? Javon’s back to back 30+ point performances were the definition of hero ball.

We have the very definition of average slate of teams we see twice. vcu and Richmond are good, the Bonnie's are mid-tier, and GW and UMass suck. It could be easier, but it could also be much harder.I'll give him we don't get St. Joes and Fordham twice this year, but that's just two games...
He also had multiple offenses to employ against multiple defenses. His main motion look is a hyper-active ball screen offense that he taught effectively and adapted to the talent. He wrote guides and made videos about the several zone offenses he employed at Mason. He added a zone defense during the post-season after not using it all year. He had Jay and John, along with his staff, scouting opponents and calling/emailing him suggestions. Which he took. Flexible and creative. And some of us thought HE was too stubborn.Larranaga also ran a lot of motion offense here, but his best teams always had multiple shot creators on the floor
The ignore feature is wonderful.Everyone really needs to back off on Jim. It’s obvious he is suffering from some sort of psychosis.
No cognitively normal person can honestly have his views. Mental health is a real issue in this country and we need to support him to reach out and get the help he needs instead of tearing him down.
You can do it, Jim. We’re rooting for you!
